My story
My name is Laura Schroder. I grew up in Shueyville before moving to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area while attending Hawkeye Community College for Professional Photography and Digital Tech, where I graduated in 2014. I currently live in Atkins with my husband, Derek, our two sons, Clyde (6) and Emmett (3), our daughter, Alyce (2 months), and our two dogs, Finn and Caliber.
When I'm not busy with my business, my husband and I love to travel, bike and hike! Every year we take part in RAGBRAI. Our son, Clyde, even got to do a day of RAGBRAI when he was 2! We love to visit new places to hike and usually camp a few nights on our travels. Part of The Appalachian Trail is on our to-do list this year!
Photography has been my root since I was about 16. I fell in love with it in high school and have been growing my skills ever since!
I occasionally do business sessions and school sports, but mostly focus on family, senior, and children sessions, but am excited to have started taking on more weddings and newborn sessions! If you're expecting a little one, reach out to hear about my Fresh 48 and Newborn packages!
